compatibility with Matlab

Does the new update of Fortran (v. 7) maintain compatibility with Matlab 6.5? I currently have Compaq Fortran 6.6.

Intel Fortran 7 is not an "update" of Compaq Visual Fortran, so it is not meaningful to ask if MATLAB continues to support it. I suggest asking MathWorks if MATLAB supports Intel Fortran.
