That the code you unleashed upon the compiler, along with the options that you chose for compiling, brought the compiler to its knees.

Such events are not unknown. See, for example

Beyond that note, explanations or fixes may become possible after being shown (i) a short example or (ii) a description of the circumstances in which the error message was produced.

Can you attach a test case that demonstrates the error. If we can reproduce we can fix the compiler and give you a workaround. Also were there any other error messages before "compilation aborted"?
