f77 dll COMMON section issues

Hello,
I have a F77 dll that has a few namedCOMMON sections. I got this dll and didnt build it myself.
When I call this dll from different threads from the same program - the COMMON section contains inconsistent data thus the dll functions return invalid results.
What would be the quickest way to fix this problem ?
