flexlm license queuing

I am wondering if the compiler supports flexlm's license queuing. At work there is a floating license for the Intel compilers. Instead of gettingthe "no license is available" error, it would be great if the compiler could wait (block) until a license is available.

The compiler does not support license queuing. I will pass on your request to our license management team for their consideration. I have implemented FLEXlm license queuing in a previous life, so I know what's involved (it isn't trivial.)

Me too for this feature. This will help with floating licenses where builds are triggered to run and it doesn't matter if they are delayed for some time.

Our licensing expert assures me that the current compiler does indeed queue license requests. If you see otherwise, I'd appreciate hearing about it.
