related to my last message about floating points (still hoping for insight or feedback), i have done this to "get around" the issue. after i "enable" the floating point exception trapping, i disable it on my last line of code so that after it leaves the fortran.dll, it won't trap any bogus or external errors. this seems to be working OK now, but i am not happy with this. it is apparently trapping errors, and i want to know why.
when fortran returns (as a .dll being called), does it call any other .dll's??? could it possibly be trapping errors generated by other items in the system?
