Any gentoo 1.4_rcx + ifc 7.1 users out there who can confirm things work (including gdb)? Especially helpful if the "ctype" problem with glibc-2.3.2 being seen under Red Hat 9 doesnt occur. I'm considering migrating from Red Hat to gentoo for a couple of reasons, but ifc is a primary need for me at present ...
I'm using gentoo - the version previous to 1.4_rc, but with recent updates to glibc (2.3.2) and gcc. I have no problems with ifc 7.1. It works fine. I had a quick test of gdb, and it seems okay with ifc-complied binaries, too.
