Hi,
I just installed the ifort 9.0 on my laptop with Debian distro (kernel-image-2.6.11-7). When I tried to run the IDB, it poped out libXft.so.1: cannot open shared object file, with an error code of 127. I checked the /usr/X11R6/lib and the libXft.so.1 wasn't there. I tried to copy the it from another computer to the directory but still didn't work. Do you have any suggestions on this problem, though I guess it may not be related to the ifort9.0.
Thanks!
Frank

I just downloaded the libXft.so.1 package from packages.debian.org and installed it. Now it's OK. Thanks for your attention.
