iidb + Photran: Problems with allocatable arrays, array sections; and long load times

Hi

I am trying to use idb with Photran 6.0 (latest release) on red-hat Linux (32-bit). I set LD_LIBRARY_PATH and used "iidb" in place gdb in the debugger. This gets the debugger working.

However it seems the debugger cannot show allocatable arrays, array sections, and character variables. . If I type these in the "expressions" window, I see "pending". Also overall the load time for the debugger is also quite long.

Is there a step that I missing here or is this a known issue? I don't have any problems when I use the idb GUI directly.

I am using IVF update 6 i.e. 11.1.069.
