Hi, my ultimate goal is to write a simple Intel Fortran dll and call it from VB6. I've spent 6 hours and gotten nowhere, so I'm reducing the target to creating an Intel Fortran dll I can call from Fortran.
I've found several examples online, but I get the error message: "This application has failed to start because libifcoremdd.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem."
I've Repaired/Reinstalledbut nothing changed. I've searched and found that the dll ison my computer.
Any help would be appreciated.

I'm sorry that you encountered this problem. It is caused by the "debug configuration" DLLs of Intel Visual Fortran being linked against a non-redistributable DLL from MSVC 6. We have looked at various solutions to make this work, but in the end we'll likely phase out the debug DLLs or just have them linked to the non-debug MSVC DLLs.

The solution for you is to select Properties..Fortran..Libraries..Use Run-Time Libraries to "Multithreaded DLL" - not one with "Debug" in its name. We apologize for the inconvenience.
