Hi
I am having problems installing the Intel fortran compiler on my Mac Pro. When I get to the install window, I get the following message:
"Could not run startup script
Error while executing the startup scrip. Make sure that you have write permissions to /tmp,/Users/Shared/Library/ Application Suport/ and its sub folders".
I have changed the write permissions (though I've never had to do this before for any other product I've installed on a Mac), and it still doesn't want to install.
Any ideas on how to proceed?

check that you have write permission on /opt and /Users/Shared/Library/Application Support along with /tmp
You are running the installation as an administrative user, correct?
