quick fortan help!!

I have a few hundred files each with extenstion .wvd. Each file contains one column of numbers (30-40000 rows). I need to number each line with it's respective row number in the format #####.

Ex.

00001

00002

00003

00004

...

...

...

39932

39933

Anyone have any suggestions?

It's not clear to me which aspect of Fortran you need help with, but perhaps you want the I5.5 format edit descriptor to produce a value of the form nnnnn with leading zeroes.
