uninstalling IVF 11.0 error

Hi,

I've recently installed 11.1.054 on my windows 7 x64 machine, along side 11.0.066. Since I dont need 11.0 anymore, I want to uninstall it but everytime I try, I get the following message:

"Another instance of uninstall was launched. Please wait while it is finished ..."

Of course there is nothing else running, and I cannot get it to uninstall. Any ideas?

I've seen this before. Reboot and try again. If that doesn't work, download the Windows Installer Cleanup Utility and use it to remove the old version.

Thanks for the reply. I rebooted a bunch of times, but it still seems to do the same thing.

I've actually resolved this now by running the original installer for IVF 11.0 and using the 'uninstall' option, rather than going through the control panel to uninstall. Not sure if something was broken with the installer, or control panel, or what.

Funnily enough when I tried to install the WICU in your post, it gave me an error and failed to install.

Anyway, problem solved now.
