Please note the v10 install adds the /verbose option to the linker settings for existing solutions that are opened. I don't know whether any other settings are changed.

David

David,

I am not seeing this when either creating new or opening old projects with 10.0 (with MS VS 2003). This is not a planned change so it would be a bug. Can you file an issue at premier.intel.com with the details so we can reproduce?

Thanks,

Wendy,

Sorry, I can't reproduce now, as I have opened all my projects and rebuilt them. There was definitely a change on my initial install, as the /VERBOSE option is not accessible through the MSVS2005 menu options, only by typing in the command in the command line field, which I did not do.

On my initial builds with my biggest project, I was suddenly hit with more than 5000 linker messages, which took me somewhat by surprise.

Since removing the /VERBOSE switch, v10 messages have returned to a similar level as in v9.1
