version control

I am a visual fortran user and am applying it to agent based modeling. However, because the code is getting quite long (about 39 pages), Iam loosing track of changes madeduring developing sessions. Clearly, I need some kind of "version control". Is this capability a part of visual fortran, current or forthcoming new releases? If not, what are my options? Are there version control packages compatible with the visual fortran design studio (IDE)? Can you recommend one?

He recommends others. You could try the free version of CS-RCS (Google CS-RCS version control). HTH

You can use Microsoft Visual SourceSafe or any other version control software which interoperates with Microsoft Visual Studio.
