Hi Hasky!
Thanks for your post, and for your interest in using Intel Graphics Performance Analyzer!
In order to use Intel GPA to attach to a running process, you will want to open Graphics Monitor.
Once open, on the bottom bar there is a checkbox titled "Auto-Detect" (see below screenshot)
By clicking the checkbox, you will enable the Auto-Detect Process feature. You can learn more about this feature here:

Then finally, start your application from your file explorer. Intel GPA will then attach to this application.
Its important to note that applications must be started after activating auto detect. If an application is started before activating auto detect, it will not be attached to and Graphics Monitor will not be able to capture frames or streams.
