media application trace

For 2014 R2 release, I cannot get trace out from my decoder application. But I can run game app. How could I get the Media application trace? Now, I already set trigger condition is that if aggrevated CPU larger than 20%, then capture the trace. Still no trace at all

Hello,

Intel GPA Platform Analyzer saw significant changes in the latest release, and no longer supports creating a trace file that includes media metrics. For more information about the latest version of the Intel GPA Platform Analyzer tool, see this article.

Though this doesn't help you now, I have notified the development team of your interest in this feature. Hopefully we will be able to add this feature for an upcoming release.
