Hello,

 

Customer wants to confirm item# IP-JESD204B

 

" I am using an Intel IP core called JESD204B. This core is licensed and
I'm trying to purchase the license from Mouser. The license is IP-JESD204B.
Since the IP-JESD204B is NCNR, I'd like to be 100% sure that this license
is the one I need and will work with my chosen FPGA family, IP version,
Quartus version, etc."

Hi Neil,

 

Good day.

Regarding to your question, I might not be able to direct if the license is the correct one or which license you require without looking at the project.

 

However I can suggest to you to apply an Intel 90-Day Evaluation License use with Quartus Pro/Standard (Free licensing trial).

Login to Intel® FPGA Self Service Licensing Center and request the Quartus evaluation free license here: https://licensing.intel.com/    

 

1) Go to Sign up for Evaluation or Free licenses

2) Select Intel® FPGA EVALUATION-LIC

3) # of Seats is always 1

4) Check the T&C box

5) Add the required options

6) Click Get License button

 

Once you run your project compilation, Quartus will automatically create a assembler report, .asm.rpt file. 

( The assembler report is located in <Project directory>/Output_files/<project_name>.asm.rpt.)

This report will show which IP license that you do not have, then you may proceed to select the IP to purchase.

Did you manage to generate the Assembler report?

From the report you can see similar view as below to see which is license or unlicensed:

Based on the JESD204B Intel® FPGA IP User guide under chapter 2.1 Release information, you can see the ordering code for this IP is "IP-JESD204B". You may share the assembler report and User Guide to double confirm with your distributor.
