About l_ipp-PCA-samples_p_4 for Linux

Hi,

I use MPEG4 encode (l_ipp-PCA-MPEG4-encode_p_4.0.003.tgz) in sample,It works ok.

But I can't watch .cmp file which is encode created.

input is YUV420 176*144 244frames.

the created cmp file size is about 64kB.

I want to know how to watch the cmp file.

Hello, .CMP file is just raw video stream. You should be able to display it with simple_player application from IPP media sample or with MPEG4 reference decoder

You need to register for IPP for IXP 42x processors and after that you can download media sample. You also can try to play CMP files with VLC player or any other player which is able to play raw MPEG4 bitstreams.
