Cannot install IPP on Visual Studio 2017 in an offline environment

Hi there, I have trouble installing w_ipp_2018.1.156.exe on my Dell Precision 7520 running Windows 10 Pro(OS Build 15063.786). At the end of the installation, there is a window saying that "Errors detected during installation. Some components failed to process:" with a link to https://software.intel.com/en-us/articles/intel-software-development-tools-integration-to-vs2017-issue. After the installation, I could not find any any references to the Intel IPP in the IDE. Following the link I couldn't really find the potential cause of my issue. I am using Visual Studio 2017 (version 15.5.0).

Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance!
