Hi ,
I am using IPP 8.0 with Intel C++ Compiler 9.1 .
a. ) Is IPP 8.0 compatible with this compiler version?
b.) Will I get any performance improvement if I use latest Compiler version?
Thanks,
Anchal

Hi Anchal,
Please check the IPP 8.0 release notes: https://software.intel.com/en-us/intel-ipp-80-library-release-notes
IPP only formally supports
Intel® C++ Compiler versions supported: 12.0 and above
Also, IPP 8.0 is pretty old release, and we do not support this version now. Do you have any plan to move the new version of Intel IPP?
For the new version of compiler, for Intel IPP functions, since it is binary code, and it is already compiled, so it is not expected to have the major performance change with the new compiler for these function. For you have the C source code, the new compiler can bring the benefits to the new platform optimization.
Thanks,
Chao

Thanks Chao !
Currently in our application we are using IPP 8.0 . We have 30 MB image , on which we need to apply image processing.
Is there anything ( tool by intel ) which we can try to reduce execution time.
Thanks,
Anchal
