Copy Protection

Can you explain what restrictions the copy protection in IPP v4.0 imposes? I've integrated IPP into my application, and now I have to put it into our build environment. I understand that, according to the license agreement, we will need one license for each build machine. That's fine, but in our environment, we check tools into our version control to ensure that and past version of our code can be accurately reproduced.

What happens if I check the IPP includes and libs into our version control? Does the copy protection need to be installed on the build machine for the software to compile and link?
