Is there a FIR_Direct function example somewhere?

Hi,
We do not have a sample that demonstrates the usage of FIR_Direct. Do you try to use this function for Intel Pentium Processor and Intel Itanium Processor families?

Yes I am trying but no success so far... I have used regular FIR function but it gave me no speed increase so I will try to do it with FIR_Direct...

Actually, the ippsFIR functions is 1.5xfaster than ippsFIR_Direct functions. Because the FFT is used inside of ippsFIR , itusesfrequency-domain filtering. To compare the performance between ippsFIR and ippsFIR_Direct, you can refer the ps_ippsw7.csv (for example on a standard Intel Pentium 4 processor) under directory..ipp40 oolsperfsysdatafor detailed comparisions.
