Haar Filter Face Detection patents used in IPP

I am planning to use Haar-Filter Face Detection method used in IPP product of Intel. However, I saw a patent US 7099510. It says Haar-filters are patented algorithm.

Would you please tell us what happens if we buy the Face Detection implemented in Intel IPP? Will we have to pay patent rights to Viola-jones, who has registered the patent or will we have to pay extra charge to Intel?

In IPP we implemented modifed version of this algorithm, based on Intel research results. If you have any legal concerns on this please contact Intel Premier Support.
