IJG on PCA

I just bought the IPP library after reading the marketing white paper that claimed that the latest IPP supported the same jpeg interfaces on desktop windows and WinCE. I was sorely dissapointed to find that the IJG jpeg library sample, which works beautifully on the desktop, doesn't even compile with the PCA IPP, for lack of several api calls. The jpeg sample provided for the PCA lib is clearly inadequate, so I am a little confused about what Intel expects developers to do here. Are we all supposed to go out and build our own IJG lib equivalents? Am I missing something?

Hi Ben,
IPP for IA is superset of IPP for PCA (it just reflect the different abilites of these platforms). We are sorry for inconvenience, but currently our sample of using IPP functions to speedup IJG library can't be built with IPP for PCA. If you consider such possibility as an important for you - please submit feature request on premier.intel.com. We will consider it for implementation in future releases.
Please note, IPP for PCA does contains functions which you can use to build your JPEG codec (you saw it with JPEG sample we provide with IPP for PCA).

Vladimir

Hi Cloud,
If you found any issues with released samples please submit it to Intel Premier Support (premier.intel.com), so we can plan and track work on them.
For your note, we are thinking about release of IJG-IPP sample for Linux (including support for IXP4xx processors, which is Xscale architecture). So I hope it will be available in the nearest release of IPP, but of course I can't guarantee that. Please, stay tuned and watch for updates of IPP and samples.
Regards,
Vladimir

When I try to submit on http://premier.intel.com/,but it have the following error:

HTTP Error 403

403 Forbidden: Access Denied

You do not have access to the requested document.

So could you please help submit the issue that PCA JPEG sample for IPP4.1 can't be compiled through.
