IPP and T.38

in the USC manual August 2008, at page 2-2 I've found the following line

USC_T38 T38 Fax algorithm

In the list of supported algorithm.
Is the T.38 really supported by the library?

Hi Sica,

USC_T38 is now just a placeholder. IPP does not support it now. IPP engineer team received such featuer request and may consider it in the future release..

It would be great! At least the softmodem code (V.17, V.29, V.21).

Intel Infrastructure DSP Solution VoIP library for IXP425(http://www.intel.com/design/network/products/npfamily/dsp/index.htm)supports T.38 Fax.This was the reasonfor USC_T38 placeholder.
