The followingis a questionsubmitted by a customerto Intel Software Network Support, along with a response provided by an Intel IPPexpertfrom this forum.
We have downloaded IPP sample code for Video and Audio Coding (w_ipp-sample-media_p_5.0.017) and successfully compiled it in Microsoft VC++. Now our aim is to merge audio and video samples, cross compile it and put it on target (Mainstone-II). We have following queries.
1>>Q. How far does this code efficiently work on Mainstone-II?
A. We have not tested this sample code onthis platform. What you can do is to build this sample using the IPP for IXP package to see how it works.
2>>Q. How to test the sample code on Windows*?
A. This sample does support Windows, and we have abuild file that supports Windows CE* for generic Intel XScale architecture.
