Does IPP support iLBC speech codec? If not are there any plans to support? if so, when will it be available?
Thanks,
Chet

Hi Chet

Thank you for your interest to IPP.

IPP does not yet supports iLBC codec. A fixed-point implementationof theiLBC codecin one IPP isconsidering to implement insome of the next IPP releases.

Thestandard iLBC floating-point version may be easily built using the code available withinIETF RFC3951.

BTW,why are you interested in IPP iLBC implementation?Which version are you looking for: FP or FxP? Do you expect IPP to bring you better performance (less CPU requirement) or you are looking for simpler iLBC licencing issue?

Thanks

Slava

Hi ,
We are using different IPP codec quite a bit, and currently only iLBC is missing.
I understand the current verison is not support, may support later.
Is that any way, we can try out the Alpha version of the FIX point iLBC
We don't mind to get some pre-mature code without any support, but at least something
we can start with and than we can stick with IPP.
Otherwise we need to think for other alterative

Thanks for your help
