Image thinning

Does anyone out there have a good idea of how to do (probably binary) image object thinning/skeleton using ippi?

Is there an easy way or only the brute force way og repeated erosion with different kernels until convergence?

I'm not quite sure I understand you question... Are you looking forimage edge detection operation?
We do have IPPfunctions to implement sobel and canny edge detection algorithms.
