JPEG2000 question

Hi,

I checked the documentation and ipp sample code and I want to ask about image size in IPP JPEG2000. Is it only working with 8bit images? I have 16 bit GrayScale image (instead of typical 8bit) and I would like to code/decode it using JPEG2000. Is it possible to do that with IPP Library?

Hi,

yes in IPP v4.1 release we support only 8-bit per channel images, but we are going to provide 16-bit per channel support in the next versions of JPEG2000 sample
