This is in reference to 6.1 update 5:
DPD200151952 IPP-zlib compress generates spurious compressed data that cannot be decompressed.
I wondered if I could get more information on this fix, I've been using IPP-zlib compression for a video codec and am not sure if the bug fix applies to my particular case.

Some details related to this problem follow:
If the IPP deflate function is calledrepeatedly withina user's buffer with a size in the range of [(32k-258)..32k] , a problem with the window update appears. It is very rare casebut can affect anyone that uses this mode.
