PNG and TIFF Codec

Hi,
Does IPP supports PNG and TIFF formats. It will be great if I can get their CODEC like for IJL.

Hi,

there is no such complete solution in TIFF or PNG like we have for JPEG or JPEG2000. It means we have no sample which can read TIFF/PNG files and produce picture from them. But we have some building blocks for such codecs. For example, in ippDC domain you can find many data compression functions which implements compression algorithms used in PNG format. Regarding TIFF, for JPEG compression in TIFF we have JPEG codec, we just not have TIFF parser code. We thought about support forPNG/TIFF images, but it still in plans not in reality.
