Question about UnifiedVideoRender::RunEventLoop()

Although I have read the UMC's manual about UnifiedVideoRender, but I still don't know how to use the function UnifiedVideoRender::RunEventLoop()

Could somebody tell me how this function work, or how can I send a message to the eventloop.

Any answers would be appreciate.
