Recommand CPU for IPP

we are going to purchase some computers, these computers is used for run IPP functions to do image processing work, is there any document that lists IPP function performance on different kinds of CPU?

we may use intel i7-970, buttry to findsome onecan have a better performancewith reasonable price.

there are on one place where you can find the perf. results for all IPP's domains, but here you can find some performance resultswith Intel IPP on Intel AVX systems.
