Remap function

I am trying to remap a X by Y square image to a 180 degree sector image. I am quite confused with the srcStep and dstStep parameters. Is this the right function to do my task? Could anyone help me?

could you please take a look on IPP documentation, there is good description of image model and ROI concept in IPP.
