I have written simple UMC H264 Encoder which encodes DV Stream. Now oldest Pentium 3 also encodes 320x240 with good performance, the latest Dual core also encodes fine, but when it comes on Xeon 64 bit Processor with Windows 7 32 bit OS on it, the encoder lags too much, task manager shows 100% CPU usage. I do not have any other XEON pc to test but so far all tests on non Xeon machine have worked excellent.
Is there any special consideration for 64bit Xeon CPUs? I am totally clue less.

Hello,
Possibly you can provide a bit more information to help to root the problem:
1) Which version of Intel IPP sample code you are using?
2) What is the processor for Xeon system?
3) How many threadings are used to encode the bit stream? The UMC sample also provide some umc_video_enc_con application. Can this problem be reproduced by the application?
Thanks,
Chao
