h264 sample parameters

Hi all,

I am doing some research using h264 sample in umc_video_enc_con (IPP 6.1.2.041). The complexity of the sample .par file is out of my scope as I only want to test the cpu performane of the encoder. Last parameter seems very close to what I need, it is: 'speed/quality grade [0,3]'. Can I asume that using ONLY this parameter the encoder is going to work at its maximun speed or quality without having to take care of the rest of the parameters (except size and number of frames, fo course)?

No, there is some more parameters that may affect quality or speed. Please take a look at this article:

In this article you may find examples of parameter files for maximizing speed or quality.
