Follow-up to the announcement regarding the removal of Intel IPP internal threads: intel-ipp-previous-release-notes . Both ippSetNumThreads(int numThr)(SetNumThreads) and ippGetNumThreads(int* pNumThr) (GetNumThreads) two functions will be removed soon.
These functions do not perform any operations and simply return the status ippStsNoOperation.
As part of our continuous efforts to improve and streamline our software, we will be completely removing these functions in the Q1 release of next year. If your systems currently call these functions, we kindly request that you notify us at your earliest convenience.
