Hi is it possible to use the IPP fft function on wav files? If not what is the correct way to go about doing so.Ihave a wav file whose frequency content I would like to plot.
you need to do FFT on audio data, it does not matter how they are wrapped, WAV format or whatever. So, you need to extract data from WAV file. Please consult with MSDN documentation about WAV format.
You also can download IPP speech codec samples, there is some code to work with WAV files.
I'm sorry, I did not realize you work with IPP for PCA. I mentioned samples in IPP for IA (Pentium, Itanium..). So, you can take a look on these samples.
