Question about I_MPI_CBWR

Greetings,

Is my understanding correct that no tuning file will be read if I_MPI_CBWR=2 is set? Environment variables I_MPI_TUNING and I_MPI_TUNING_BIN will have no effect in this case, correct?

yes that's correct. I_MPI_CBWR=2 ignores all tuning settings

Ok. Thanks a lot for the clarification. I was unsure because despite having defined I_MPI_CBWR=2 there still is this message in the log file which is quite misleading:

[0] MPI startup(): Load tuning file: ...
