Hi forum,
In the process of resolving a problem with our Intel MPI installation, I found the following which I do not know if is a problem. We have a True Scale Fabric Edge Switch 12200 which I expect to use the TMI interface between nodes (-env I_MPI_FABRICS shm:tmi) but from mpitune it seems that this interface is not available:
12'May'14 10:44:39 | Fabric 'shm:dapl' passed checking successfully.
12'May'14 10:44:39 | Fabric 'ofa' passed checking successfully.
12'May'14 10:44:39 | Fabric 'shm:ofa' passed checking successfully.
12'May'14 10:44:40 | Fabric 'shm:tcp' passed checking successfully.
12'May'14 10:44:40 | Fabric 'dapl' passed checking successfully.
12'May'14 10:44:40 | Fabric 'tcp' passed checking successfully.
12'May'14 10:45:10 | Fabric 'shm:tmi' didn't pass the check and was removed from queue.
12'May'14 10:45:40 | Fabric 'tmi' didn't pass the check and was removed from queue.
12'May'14 10:45:41 | Fabric 'shm' passed checking successfully.
Does any of you know if this indicates a problem with our setup? As you can probably see, I am new to MPI development so my apologies if I am confusing things or this is not a relevant forum to pose this question.
Thanks.
Kristoffer
