hello all

and sorry if this post is in wrong section

I have a problem with my laptop. In bios i switched to IDE but i want to use AHCI.

When AHCI is on i get blue screen when PC is loading. Then restarts..

can you help me to solve this problem? what should i install? i need drivers...

i use XP SP3 32 bit.

How to enable AHCI on my Intel ICH9? (ICH9M-B)

Im on Mobile Intel GM45.

Myexperiencefor these types of issues has been to contact the manufacture of the system.

They are in the best position to provide the correct drivers.

I wish that I could provide more detailed direction.
