Hello Intel Team,

I have two key queries regarding the Intel Agilex 5 SoC + FPGA device:

  1. Replacement Feasibility:
We are analyzing to add Agilex 5 SoC + FPGA in our custom board design as a replacement for the existing i.MX8M Quad SoC and Intel Cyclone 10 FPGA combination.
Kindly confirm whether the Agilex 5 can serve as a suitable alternative for both processor and FPGA functionalities.

  2. ADC/DAC Feature Support:
Please confirm whether the Agilex 5 includes native ADC and DAC functionalities, or if external ADC/DAC components are still required.

    • If ADC functionality is available internally, please provide details on the number of supported channels and related specifications.

For your reference, our current design uses the following external components (connection diagram attached):

  • ADC: ADAS1135JBCZ (256 channels)

  • DAC: AD5372BCPZ (32 channels)

Your guidance on device compatibility, integration feasibility, and analog interface support will be highly appreciated.

Best regards,
Ramesha S P
