SIMT instructions on intel cpus

Are there any plans to implement SIMT (single instruction multiple thread) on intel cpus instead of surrenduring the entire concept to the gpu people?

It's anybody's guess what you mean by this question. Did you read the information on the forum about Intel phi/MIC platform?
