STL strings and Intel Thread checker issues

Intel thread checker shows bunch of data-race errors in C++ STL strings. These strings are declared as local variables in the program. Does any one know if there is any issue with STL strings or Intel Thread checker ? Pls see error messages and examples in the attachement.
