SpeedStep in DP45SG

My build
DP45SG
Q9300@2.50

In the bios under the power tab, there is a Enhanced Speed Step option. I disabled it and raised my cpu voltage to 1.32v, however when i log into windows it still says 1.26v. I assume that speed step is actually not disabled. How can I fix this problem?

Hi hankswang,

You have to change your windows energy saving configuration in Control Panel. No matter your BIOS configuration, if the Windows energy configuration is set to optimize energy, it will manage the CPU voltages.

Cheers,
