hi.I don't know this problem has been discussed before but I couldn't find anything about it. So this is my question:I have a creative modem blaster V.90 PCI DI5197 modem.I dial my internet provider number and I get the error message that ''619'' when my username and password verify. I have this problem when the Hyper threading is enable on bios and there is no problem when it's disable. what can I do for this problem. Thanks very much for your help.

You might look for a way to run the application which drives dial-up in one of the compatibility modes, like win98 compatibility, if you are on Windows. The most likely problem is that there is incorrect threading, and one of the functions of compatibility modes is to force all threads in the app to run on the same logical processor.

The compatibility mode tab is discussed inthe Windows XPhelp menu, but you haven't even confirmed whether you are running Windows. Windows 2k has a similar capability, added on in the Service Packs, but you must go to their knowledge base to learn how to use it. There should also be a list on the Microsoft site about applications which they know have such problems. I'm sure that list isn't complete.
