I'm currently looking to build a new pc however I'm split between getting a 7700k or wait for coffee lake. Will the 8th gen processors support Intel Optane Memory? Also will having a Samsung NVMe as a secondary drive affect optane in any way?

Hi Viktor002,
We understand your concern regarding Intel® Optane™ Memory compatibility with 8th gen processors. We will be more than happy to assist you.
Intel® Optane™ Memory is compatible with 7th gen processors and above this will include 8th gen processors, also you can use your Samsung* NVMe as a secondary drive and it will not affect the Optane™ setup.
If you have further questions feel free to contact us again.
Regards,
Junior M.

Hi Viktor002,
Thanks for the reply, at the moment we do not have any information available about which chipsets will support the Intel® Optane™ Memory since 8th gen processors haven't been released yet.
Regards,
Junior M.
