I got a 16G optane memory from my friend, thinking about adding it to current system for HDD.
Now I am using one m.2 nvme ssd as boot/system disk and one HDD for other data
Do I need to reinstall windows 10 in m.2 ssd or format HDD for optane memory? Thank you!

1. You don't need to reinstall your Windows or reformat your drive in order to accelerate your secondary drive. Your HDD should have GPT partition. If not convert it to GPT from administrator Command Prompt, using mbr2gpt function.
2. Just follow this guide: https://www.intel.com/content/dam/support/us/en/documents/memory-and-storage/optane-memory/intel-optane-memory-user-installation.pdf
