Hello you all!
Massive problem... I was working late as usual since the beginning of 2023 when my laptop froze. Blue screen. It tried to restart but was returning to either the bluse screen or would start and have its screen frozen after a few seconds not allowing me to perform any action. Until it finally went all black, on the 6th or 7th attempt to restart, asking me to reboot from a pen and hit a key.
I didn't have a boot pen with this system, so installed Windows11 from a boot pen. All went well and system was deployed to the 32Gb unit transformed into a 26,5Gb unit. The 1Tb was gone! Nowhere to be found (BIOS, Intel software, etc etc etc). Only at one event it was displayed at Intel's software there was a dual system but only the 26,5Gb was ok and the other one was inactive or deactivated.
Decided to take it to Toshiba/Dynabook servicing. They just called me. It is gone for good. The 1Tb I mean. All lost. Fortunately I have a lot of redundancies and damaged isn't as bad as it could have been as I had the best of impressions of Intel products. I have always bought my laptops since 1995 considering they all had Intel processors inside. They say I must buy a new storage device. And here is the thing I find quite interesting. The laptop I use for business has a 1 year warranty. As it was bought 27 or 28 months ago, no more warranty. However, Intel's webpage for this specific product states it has a warranty of 5 years:
That said, I would like to know what Intel has to say about this. All my previous laptops lasted for at least 5 years, minimum. Because this Dynabook Portégé X30L-G-11R (EAN: 4062507065827) lasted less than half of my average and costed me twice as much as I usually gave for a laptop, I would like to know what Intel has to say about this. Vital for me to decide if I am going to keep on buying any product with Intel's inside in the future.
Thanks!

You never want to install to the Optane memory itself.
Go into BIOS Setup and check whether the Optane Memory module is properly enabled. If you don't, this is what happens (though it is not the only possible cause for this). For more information, see: Intel Optane Memory Quick Start Guide.
Hope this helps,
