Whenever I open Windows Explorer, I get an error message saying that Intel Optane Memory Pinning is unable to load the DLL, 'iaStorAfsServiceApi.dll': the specified module could not be found. The exception is HRESULT: 0x8007007. How do I fix this?

My suggestion is to do the following:

1. D​isable Optane acceleration.
2. Uninstall the Optane software.
3. Reboot.
4. Reinstall the​ Optane software (but do check downloadcenter.intel.com to see if there is a newer version beforehand).
5. Reenable Optane acceleration.
6. Test.

I think that did it. BTW, it’s the RST, not Optane, that’s installed on my system. Not sure why it was giving me the Optane error. Thanks much.
